01. Scope & controller
Archive.Vip is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when you visit the site, create a customer account, contact support, or purchase a listing. Discord, payment providers, hosting providers, game publishers, and linked third-party services control their own processing under their own privacy notices.
02. Information we collect
- Account data: username, email address, display name, password hash, account status, and session records. We do not store your readable Archive.Vip password.
- Order and delivery data: order number, listing, price, payment method and status, timestamps, warranty or support history, and encrypted digital delivery content.
- Payment data: transaction identifiers, payment status, network or wallet transaction details, and limited billing details supplied by processors. Full card numbers and security codes are handled by the card processor rather than Archive.Vip.
- Steam import data: a public profile URL and public profile, game, ban, inventory, image, and market-estimate data returned by the selected Steam data provider.
- Support data: Discord identity, messages, attachments, and information you choose to send when requesting help.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, request time, authentication events, and hashed identifiers used for rate limiting and fraud prevention.
03. Why we use information
We use information to provide customer accounts, authenticate users, process and document orders, deliver purchased access, provide warranties and support, recover passwords, prevent fraud and abuse, protect the service, comply with tax and legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. Where applicable, the legal bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, and consent when the law requires it.
06. Retention & transfers
Account records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve security, fraud, and legal issues. Expired sessions and password-reset tokens are removed or invalidated. Order, payment, delivery, warranty, and dispute records are retained for the period reasonably required for support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Data may be processed in countries other than your own by our providers, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.
07. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. California residents may also request details about collection and disclosure and exercise applicable rights without discrimination. Because Archive.Vip does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing opt-out to exercise. We may verify your identity and retain information where an exception applies, including transaction, fraud, security, tax, or legal records.
08. Security & age limits
Archive.Vip uses salted password hashing, restricted secure cookies, administrator two-factor authentication, access controls, rate limits, and encryption for delivered credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. Never send your Archive.Vip password, payment-card security code, or cryptocurrency private key through Discord. The service is intended only for adults and is not directed to children under 13 or to anyone below the age required to make the relevant purchase.
09. Requests, updates & contact
Submit privacy questions or verified rights requests through the official Archive Discord. State that your request concerns privacy and provide the Archive.Vip username or email needed to locate the account; do not send your password. We may update this policy to reflect service or legal changes and will post the new effective date here.
